Wear mouth guard and shin pads, plus clothes appropriate for weather.
Ball patrol rain jackets will be provided.
Meet outside the shed by pitch no later than 30 mins before match start time. Someone will be there to meet you and provided further details on what to do.
General Guidelines for Ball Patrol:
The key during game time is to be switched on and alert as to what is happening on the pitch. Unlike junior hockey the ball doesn’t only travel much faster along the floor, but in the air also…..
Be ready with ball in hand at all times. If you don’t have one, get / find one from pitch side, your ball patrol colleagues.
Replace ball at side of pitch for teams to restart play with before retrieving the initial ball that has gone out of play.
